About Us

Hi all -

Satisfy your psyche! That's my goal. Fabric is my medium of choice. Texture, color, and dimension - what else is there? My artwork is usually based on a concept, rather than a vision. I see usual items in an unusual way and incorporate that into my creations. If you like the unique, you will like my work.

I started doing ebay as a way to reach a larger audience with my art and interests. My ebay seller ID is: keygoodsandarms. My interests are varied so you might see a variety of items posted by me. I like antiques, I paint (mostly watercolor and acrylic), I make custom clothing and costumes (I love sewing and embroidery and can create that one-of-a-kind item to showcase your unique style), I love to recycle found objects into something useful, beautiful, or just a conversation piece!

Community is important to me too and I volunteer with two local arts organizations and with the local historic "Independence Square" (Independence, Missouri) group.

Music has always played a large part in my life and I play the hammered dulcimer - mine is as sweet-sounding as a harp, yet can be "bright" enough to play for a Victorian Ball or a contra dance.

I've been involved  with Civil War re-enactors for many years and my book store (Blue & Grey Book Shoppe in Independence, Missouri) specializes in American History, the Civil War, local history, as well as other non-fiction titles related to collecting, cooking, sewing, quilting, women's issues, health, business, biography, political, and also children's books. The shop also has unique gifts, and fine art (including mine) in the upper level gallery of the historic building. Browse this web site and the links below, to see more of my work and offerings.

This is Roger Campbell.

He is the one who believes in me and supports whatever I try to do. I certainly couldn't have put this website together without his help. You'll even see a couple of ACEO's that I did with him as the model (of course, he didn't know it at the time). They're part of my Roger the Techie series.

Roger is an artist in his own right and you will see photos that he has taken, for sale on my photo web site. He also has many on his own site for your viewing pleasure.
